SDSU Wrestlers Defeat American University

WASHINGTON, DC - South Dakota State defeated American University 27-19 in wrestling Sunday afternoon.
The Jacks started things with a pin by Cody Nehl at 197. Amerian tied it with a pin at heavyweight, then SDSU won the next three weights by forfeit for a 24-6 lead. SDSU’s other victory came at 184, a 10-5 decision by Levi Krehmeyer.
SDSU, now 10-7, will close its dual season at North Dakota State Thursday. American University fell to 4-13.
