Special Annoucement

On Monday, Feb 22 I become one step closer to severing all ties with Vermillion. My apartment has been subleased and we will be completely moved out by Monday. My finance still has to suffer through 1 month of Vermillion (1 month left of PT classes); but will commute from Sx Falls. By my estimation, I should only spend a couple more days and dollars in that wretched little hole of a town ;D

It truley is a glorious day!

I left Vermillion in June of 1998 and returned only for my graduation from med school. I have not set foot in the town since and do not intend to unless my future includes a direct affiliation with the med school (likely) and I can't convince the students to come to me. ;D As for Brookings, I wish they needed a Critical Care doc with Internal Medicine and Pulmonary board certification.

I graduated from law school in 1978 and have been back to Vermillion one time about 10 years ago. The town is a pit. Get back to Brookings often.

The last time I played with you and 1979 you took me for all I was worth (not much then-even less now).  If you buy me dozen balls I might be able to make it through 18 holes

If you are severing your ties, you have to change your name. I think we could come up with some good names for you to try out. While it is kind of long, I think the following would be good: "Free at last, Free at last!" You could shorten it to FALFAL.

Jack Be Nimble probably will come up with the best.

The move is over and done with. I wonder if JackMD can presribe me anything for the pain my body is in. Thanks for your help, 1979 . Vermillion is now a thing of the past!

I like the suggestions on the name change. I think I've finally chosen one. I'll let you know shortly....
