SDSU took a 1-0 lead in the first inning when Geary doubled and scored on a single by Pat Farrell.

After Butler scored single runs in the second, third and fourth, the Jacks got one run back in the fifth when Nick Adams singled, went to second when Kyle Sytsma walked, and scored on a single by Chris Iverson.

The Jacks took the lead with a pair of runs in the sixth. Sytsma walked, Iverson reached on a fielder’s choice when Sytsma was safe on a error, and the runs scored on an infield groundout by Tim Hanigan and a sacrifice fly by Tony Lane.

Anyone know if Greg Geary is related to ex-football Jackrabbit and former Sioux Falls baseball standout Chris Geary

I don't think they are related. But i believe Greg Geary's brother may have played baseball at SDSU as well.
          Maybe not?
