INDIANS WIN IN EXTRA INNINGS AGAINST WISCONSIN-MILWAUKEE, 3-2

 JONESBORO, Ark.-- The Arkansas State baseball team edged its second win against Wisconsin-Miwaukee, 3-2 on Sunday at Tomlinson Stadium. This was the second extra inning game for the Tribe, as both games went into 12 innings and the Tribe pulled a victory.  .  .  .

The Tribe will be back in action on Tuesday evening as they face South Dakota State in Jonesboro. First pitch is set for 6:30 pm.

ASU is off to a fast start.  12-3 on the year.   Their only losses came to #15 Mississippi, LA-Monroe, and our friends from UW-Milwaukee.

Baseball Cancelled Wednesday, Adds Thursday Game

South Dakota State's baseball game with Arkansas State, scheduled Wednesday in Jonesboro, has been cancelled.

But the Jackrabbits, 1-6, have added a Thursday game to their schedule against Baker University in Lawrence, KS.

Baker, an NAIA member of the Heart of America Conference, is 8-8 with a doubleheader against Bethany, KS, Wednesday.

Game time on Thursday is 4 p.m.

SDSU will then move on to Lincoln, NE, where the Jacks are scheduled to open a four-game series with Nebraska Friday when they play a single nine-inning game against the Cornhuskers starting at 2 p.m. SDSU and Nebraska will play a doubleheader Saturday (Noon) and another single game Sunday (1 p.m.).

I wonder if the game is really in Lawrence.  Baker University is in Baldwin City (just down the road from Lawrence) and they usually play their games at Sauder Field.  I think I am going to try and make this game.  Does anyone know for sure where it is being played (KU campus/City Field/Baker campus)?

Talked to the good folks up at the Athletic Department and the game is in fact in Baldwin City on the Campus of Baker University.
