Kennedy High School senior captain Holly Opatz is expected to be a major force on the state high school girls golf scene this spring.
Opatz is a four-time All-Lake Conference performer for the Eagles and is attempting to earn a third trip to the state tournament.
“This is Holly’s sixth year on the varsity,” said Eagle head coach Todd Kennedy. “She is definitely a state title contender and will attend South Dakota State University next fall.
“Holly has a tremendous amount of talent and pride. She is hitting the ball farther than ever and has improved her putting stroke.”
