Soon, OK will refer to my mental state instead of the state where I live.

I have received (and will accept) an offer to join the faculty of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at SDSU in the fall. I interviewed at SDSU earlier this month and just got the offer today.

We're hoping to leave Oklahoma and be home for good in Brookings by July 1. There is literally no way my wife and I could be any more thrilled with this development.

But there is one more bonus...

Our welcome home gift from my dad? Season tickets for Jackrabbit football!

I just wanted to introduce myself - I am OK_Jackrabbit's better half and am looking forward not only to the move to Brookings, but to seeing the Jacks play in person and participating on this board.

I am a Hawkeye by birth (my dad wouldn't have it any other way), but the Jackrabbits are my second fave team.
