    Think you know your sports cliches?  Take our 20-question challenge to see if you've got what it takes.  This is one of those fill-in-the-blank tests, so you'll need pencil and paper. Simply provide one word that best completes the sentence to make a sports cliche.   Some are easy, some a bit harder, but that's how we separate the real sports fans from the wannabes.  And just in case you've forgotten how to do these tests, here's a sample question:

    Sample question:   He always gives 110 ______.    The answer is, of course, percent. So you'd write percent on your answer sheet. Got it? OK, put on your thinking cap and let's go!

      Analysis:



      Less than 12 correct: Pretty clueless. Your primary exposure to sports cliches is the Sunday morning political talk shows.

      12-13 correct: You're obviously not much of a sports fan. You only watch the Super Bowl for the commercials.

      14-15 correct: You know enough not to embarrass yourself in a Monday morning conversation, but you hit the TV mute button whenever you hear Dick Vitale.

      16-17 correct:  You're a casual sports fan, often guilty of channel surfing at halftime.

      18-19 correct:  You spend most of the weekend in front of the television. You listen to sports radio exclusively when in your car.  You like starting the argument that golfers are athletes.

      20 correct:  Hardcore.  You need to get off the couch and out of the house!
