Golf outing makes RC paper

SDSU Golf Tournament

SPEARFISH - Join alumni, friends, coaches and staff of South Dakota State University for an afternoon of golf at Spearfish Canyon Country Club in Spearfish on July 15.

The event supports student organizations and other university programs at SDSU and brings SDSU alumni and friends together.

Register as a single or as a team for a four-person scramble that begins at 1 p.m. Dinner and a benefit auction will start at 7:30 p.m. at the First Gold Hotel and Casino in Deadwood. Prizes will be awarded all day, officials say. The fee for golfing and dinner is $90 per person.

If you cannot play in the tournament may still attend the 7:30 p.m. dinner for $30.

This is a fun tournament. The auction following the event raises $15,000 for scholarships, campus organizations, etc. Plus, the Spearfish Canyon golf course is one of the best courses in the state. Live a little, go to the West River event.
