Since SDSU has gone DI we have gotten some great athletes out of Sioux Falls that we would not have gotten if we had remained DII. I hope this trend continues in Sioux Falls and around the state.

I think getting some of the best SD HS athletes is a key to winning full acceptance of the D-I move in the Sioux Falls media.

That's a good point. Also they will be forced to cover their events like it or not.
