    ST. LOUIS - Saint Louis senior Johnny Sweeney legged out an infield single with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 10th to deliver a 3-2 win over Indiana State this afternoon at The Billiken Sports Center. The Billikens (2-5) saw the Sycamores tie it up in the top of the ninth to force extra innings, but used three hits in the 10th to eke out their second-consecutive victory. . . .

    Saint Louis wraps up its eight-game homestand this weekend against South Dakota State. The three-game series at The Billiken Sports Center begins on Fri., Mar. 3, at 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday games are slated for 1 p.m. starts. . . .

    This series should tells us where the Jackrabbit baseball program is at. A little better measuring stick than say a Big 12 program.

      After losing 18-5 yesterday and 12-1 in the 1st game today, the Jacks are trying to hang on for their 1st win of the spring. They are ahead 4-2 in the bottom of the ninth. SLU has runners on 1B and 2B with nobody out.
