    IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

    I have been working with Tony the Administrator on migrating this SDSU board over to SDSUFans.com.

    We're just about ready to flip the switch.

    Tony needs to zip up the database and I need to restore it onto the new site.

    This may happen as early as Wednesday, April 5th.

    Depending on when Tony is able to take the backup and when I'm able to complete the restore onto the new board, there will be a period when posts to this board will not show up on the new board.

    We'll work to keep that period as short as possible, but Tony will make the backup when he has a chance, possibly tomorrow morning, while I'll be in the air coming home from the Women's Final Four in Boston and won't be able to work on it until later tomorrow afternoon or evening. So tomorrow may be an interesting day for board postings.

    For your future reference, the new SDSUFans Forum will be at:

    Please bookmark this link for future access.

    The SDSUFans Forum will also be a prominent link on the main SDSUFans.com site.

    89Rabbit will continue in his role as lead moderator and I'll be backing him up. Additionally, we've discussed recruiting a third forum member to assist in moderation duties (to be determined).

    Thanks Filbert for all of the good work. It is nice to have SDSUFans.com up and going.

    I imagine you have already done this but have you let i-aa.org know of the new board so they can list it on their fanzone. I think a lot of posters from other schools find us through them. The link right now takes one to the old board.

            i like the new site and new features [smiley=beer.gif] i average 2.40 posts a day.  The smileys rock my world. um yah the stresses of the semester ending are upon me. i see you got rid of the old statuses like the new guy and stuff. i'd like to see statuses like new guy, soph, junior jack, and die hard rabbit or something like that

              The statuses are:
              Freshman (1-99 posts)
              Sophomore (100-249)
              Junior (250-499)
              Senior (500-999)
              B.S. Degree (1000-1999)
              Master of Rabbitology (2000-2999)
              Doctor of Jackitude (3000+)

              (with the possibility of:
              Post-Doc
              Lecturer
              Asst. Professor
              Professor
              Dean
              etc.)
              in the future . . .

                Hey admin guy - I've been having some trouble on the new Bisonville board with the Personal Messages (sporadically getting an error message about 1.txt&quot. Also a problem when there are user IDs that differ only in case (Tony and tony, for example).

                I had to go out and find a new version of one of the little source files. If you run into anything like that, let me know so we can compare notes. If you aren't running into things like that, I guess it's time for me to start worrying.
