Re: Big Sky takes no action

As much as I think travel is mostly a non-issue (the Big Sky already is an airplane league), I can understand why the president of, say, Portland State looks at a map and is hesitant to expand to the Dakotas. That would mean a conference spanning three time zones. I believe only the WAC trumps that, and I'm not sure any college president thinks the WAC is the model to follow.

Trust me! the WAC is NOT a good model to follow! Besides, that conference is contantly in fear of being raided at any moment by the MWC and by CUSA althought none of the WAC schools' fans will ever admit to it.

Denver fits with everything but FB, and the BSC seems to like where they are at in FB. I would assume Denver will save on travel expenses, and probably view the BSC as a step up from their current affiliation.
This thought process and scenario seems most logical. Which in the case of the Fullerton lead BSC, makes it the least likely!!

You have no idea how much I wish I would have put that as my last line.

I hope we get a bid from Mid-Con real soon, then we focus on Great West Football kicking Big Sky football.

Except Boise State fans! They're constantly talking about a move to the MWC.
