Evans earns Academic All-America honor
South Dakota State University golfer Kelly Evans has earned a spot on the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America Second Team.
Evans, a senior from Brookings, made the University Division at-large academic team with a perfect 4.00 grade-point average while majoring in microbiology. She is the second Jackrabbit student-athlete to be honored on an Academic All-America team for the 2005-06 school year, joining football player Mitch Klein, who was a second-team selection this past fall. . . .
