So I have been giving Mid-Con expansion some thought (with the news that Oklahoma City University wants to move to D-I and that Utah Valley State is thinking about adding football). How about this as a line up for the Mid-Con of the future?

Oral Roberts
Oklahoma City University

(Centenary finds another home)

* Great West Football Conference member

Everyone has a good travel partner and with the addition of the two Cali schools (Cal-Poly and UC Davis) the GWFC has 7 members. This is pure speculation, but it makes a lot of sense to me.

What about forming a new conference with schools like

Denver
Utah Valley St.
Southern Utah
Cal Bakersfield
SDSU
North Dakota St.

If these schools move up:

North Dakota
South Dakota

Ask the NCAA into giving this conference an automatic bid for basketball and it's a done deal.
