  • Yankton Jackrabbit Club Golf Event 2013

The annual YJC golf event (our biggest fundraiser) is tomorrow at Hillcrest Golf Club in Yankton, SD. 12 noon registration with 1 pm shotgun. Texas scramble format. $100 per golfer which includes 18 holes of golf, dinner afterwards and a presentation by several Jackrabbit coaches and AD staff. We will accommodate anyone that wants to play just show up at Hillcrest tomorrow.

Some great pin prizes including YJC and other Jackrabbit gear. All proceeds go towards the YJC's commitment to scholarships and to constructing the Human Performance Center on the SDSU campus.

FYI, just finished the new paint on my house. You'll never guess the color.

Thank you all very much for your kind support of the Yankton Jackrabbit Club 2013 Golf Event. This fundraising event has funded a $20,000 endowed scholarship to SDSU. The scholarship will be awarded annually to a student from South East SD who will attend SDSU. Additionally the Yankton Jackrabbit Club has committed $25,000 toward the indoor practice facility at SDSU. This fundraising effort is important to the university and keeps Jacks supporters from our region of the state engaged in happenings at SDSU.

Please thank those within your respective organizations who make charitable giving decisions. To our small business owners we know these donations come straight from your pocket and you have our sincere thanks! We ask that as you budget for next year you keep us in mind. If you would like to increase your support or have suggestions for us to improve the event please feel free to contact any of our committee members. We will contact you again next spring and look forward to your continued support of the Yankton Jackrabbit Club and SDSU.

Jack MD - put me on "your radar" for next year. With enough notice - I can "stir up" some money on behalf of our group in Nebraska. You can PM me or remind Dr. Megard to hit up his cousin from down south off of Highway 81. (the Hampton Inn Norfolk will be happy to support Jackrabbit Athletics!! Even if they don't know it right now!)

Thank you YJC! This is a great event and so much fun. I wish I could play in the event every year. Is it possible to move the event to a weekend (Sat. or Sun) so more people could come from out of town?
