Today is a big day for SDSU and the USA. Today is the marks the 150th Anniversary of the signing of the Morrill Act by President Abraham Lincoln. This act created the Land Grant College System and today SDSU will be hosting a celebration that will kick off a year’s worth of events to honor this important piece of legislation. If you are in or near Brookings I would encourage you to attend this historic event. SDSU ice cream will be served by the Alumni Association staff at the conclusion of the program
