    Yankton Jackrabbits Golf Event

    The annual Yankton Jackrabbit Club golf event will occur Wednesday, June 6th at Hillcrest Country Club in Yankton, SD.

    1 pm shotgun start, 4 person teams, $100/golfer gets you on the course and in for dinner after the round. All proceeds go towards an endowed scholarship for SDSU student athletes from Yankton area.

    There are also sponsorships available. If you are interested please respond to this post or send me a PM.

    A few more details if anyone is interested. Really a fun event on a great golf course with a nice meal afterwards. If you come from out-of-town I'll be happy to treat you to the beverage of your choice.

    1:00 pm- Shotgun Start
    6:00 pm- Dinner
    Hillcrest Country Club

    • Golf Package: $100.00/person (includes 18 holes of golf,
    mulligans, driving range, and dinner)
    • Dinner Only: $25.00/person
    • Cart Rental: $15.00/person (contact Hillcrest to reserve a
    cart at 605-665-4522)
    • Golf format is a four person scramble
    • Open driving range and lunch grill available from 11:30-1:00

      How did the Yankton Jackrabbit Club golf event go this year? I believe they use to fund a scholarhip, is it close to being fully funded?

        Event went well. Coach AJ and Slade Larschied from the A.D. spoke. The YJC presented a check for $7500 which puts the endowment above the $20K mark and allows us to start providing scholarship money to a local athlete the chooses to attend SDSU. Weather was beautiful and Hillcrest Country Club is in great condition. Had a great meal and program to follow. Looking forward to the annual "float down the river with the YJC" and then tailgating this fall.
