Rasmussen was on a roll coming into the ISU match. ends the season on a disappointing losing streak

ok wrestling experts, where do we stand going into the Big 12s and nationals?

do we feel good about anyone winning a Big 12 title?
locks for nationals? can make nationals with a good conference tourney? dark horses?

I am not familiar enough with wrestlers from other schools. I am guessing the Rasmussen loss is an unpleasant surprise. maybe Berge should / could have won by more, but he seems to be having quite a few of those matches

maybe Berge and some of the other ranked guys wrestled a little conservative today after getting a lead? wanting to avoid a loss at the end of the season? maybe Rasmussen losing last week and Jordan starting todays match with a loss could lead to others wrestling a bit more conservative

Devos getting the 5 seed is incredible, it is basically the same as the 4 seed, it is incredible because somehow Hamiti got the 1 seed over O’Toole putting Devos on the opposite side of the bracket.

Everyone is beatable, but O’Toole surely has to be the toughest to beat in the Big 12’s.

i am DEFINITELY no expert, but that feels like a pretty solid session #1 for the Jacks. the Rhodes situation is disappointing. I did not hear on the broadcast what it was, but apparently he was injured. was this something he was dealing with coming in? or something new today. looks like he was going to try to go in the first consolation match but was not able to. never really heard any info on the broadcast. bummer for him!!

Allen gave the one seed a battle. any surprising outcomes?

Figure Rasmussen to be the favorite in his next match. should face the 3 seed after that. he looked completely overmatched by the 2 seed.

I know that in one of the matches last year, I think the in season duel, Berge wrestled Plott right to the wire. I think most would say he should have beat him. I definitely think he has the ability. as far as I know, he has never come close to hanging an L on Keckuisen- however you spell it

133, 141, 157, 174, 184, 197 & 285 are auto qualified. Jordan has a decent shot at getting an at large bid, Rhodes will also have a shot but not placing hurts his chances

Leaving the tournament by injury should help Rhodes get an at-large, since his national ranking is high.
