  • UMN vs SDSU

Do we have a chance against the Gophers? Before Gable Steveson returned I thought we a golden opportunity to knock off Minnesota.

I think MN looks better on paper, but the Jacks have a decent shot of taking home the win. There will be a handful of toss-up matches that we will need to win, primarily at 149, 165, and 197. I think we’ll need some bonus points along the way to make up for the likely beat down at heavyweight. Go Jacks!!!

Of course we have a chance. MN has been wrestling really well, and as you said the addition of GS changes things quite a bit. Our guys will be ready to go!

Jacks get boat-raced 30-3. DeVos gets 2-0 decision for the only points.

          Well that's a bummer.

Turns out they weren’t ready to go at all. Must have been still on Thanksgiving break

So is it too early in the season for individual rankings to mean much ? The Jacks lower weights especially haven't seemed to have worked out against the Gophers and UNI.

Huh? They didn’t get a takedown that had any meaning on the match until 184. If they were ready to go they don’t lose 125, 184 and DeVos wins by a much bigger margin than 2-0. Glazier doesn’t get absolutely dominated by Salazar, Siebrecht shows at least something, Cardinal doesn’t get majored, etc. Seriously, what did they show today that shows they were ready to go other than Berge losing a close match to #9 ranked McEnelly. I guess you could say Tagg showed a little something
