Jordan wins 3-0. Will wrestle tonight for a spot in the top 8. His opponent Ungar from Cornell hurt his ankle in the 2nd period fighting to keep Jordan from escaping. He kept going, but that really took it out of him.

        Berge wins 14-7!

So Jordan, DeVos, and Berge wrestle tonight for an All American spot, and Sloan for a spot in the Finals. DeVos faces NDSU's Sax.

Hope we get 2 AA's and one finalist. Hidlay will be tough for Sloan. 3 AA's would be a successful season and keep the momentum going into next year.

Did he get dinged up a little when he got taken off the mat early in the match ?

Sure looked like it. At one point after that he started hoping on one leg during live action.

I thought so too. He seemed tentative and slower after that moment - at least for a while.

It was fun watching Sloan and Berge get simultaneous wins. I did not get a lot done at work this afternoon!

wow!! i guess we gotta just chalk up the first match yesterday to first time NCAA nerves. Berge looks great again taking down Pinto from the huskers to be our 4th AA!!

And Berge gets the win ! Sloan is guaranteed AA, so that makes a record setting four !

Poor start to the tourney turned around. If Carlson had been healthy during the year, that would have been 5. The future is bright with this program. Sloan needs to get back to the finals. He can do it.

Jordan got caught out in overtime with a takedown. Goes down 5-2. Will wrestle for 7th.
