  • First Round Big 12’s 2023

    First round at Big 12’s

125 - (6) Jordan vs Gollhofer they are 1-1, Jordan won last matchup, I lean 75% toward Jordan, decision

133 - Cardinal vs (7) Midkiff, Cardinal is up 1-0 with a win in SV a couple weeks ago. I lean 60% toward Midkiff, decision

141 - (5) Carlson vs Swiderski, they haven’t faced each other, I lean 80% Carlson, decision

149 - Martin vs (2) Realbuto, they haven’t faced each other, I lean 80% Realbuto, decision

157 - (4) Swenson vs Miller-Johnston, they haven’t faced each other, I lean 95% Swenson, probable tech fall.

165 - (7) Cook vs Casey, they haven’t faced each other, I lean 95% Cook, probable fall

    174. - (6) Devos - Bye

184 - (7) King vs Blake, King is up 1-0, I lean 75% King, decision

197 - (1) Sloan vs Gerlach, Sloan is up 1-0, I lean 95% Sloan, probable fall

285 - (4) Nevills vs Mora, Nevills is up 2-0, I lean 80% Nevills, decision

my prediction is the rabbits 7-2 first round plus a bye, and 3 bonus point victories.

8-1 is very possible with Martin having by far the toughest matchup.

Hope to see you all in a sea of blue in Tulsa!

Good draw for the team race. Only one first round bye, gives us a chance to jump out with a lot of points. What are the odds of a top 3/4 finish?

Can someone explain that scoring structure for the big 12’s and NCAA’s. What are bonus point wins worth?

1 point advancement on the championship side, .5 point advancement on the backside, no advancement points in the placement matches. Not sure on placement points but this is how the ncaa championship awards placement points
          • 1st place: 16 points
          • 2nd place: 12 points
          • 3rd place: 10 points
          • 4th place: 9 points
          • 5th place: 7 points
          • 6th place: 6 points
          • 7th place: 4 points
          • 8th place: 3 points
Bonus points are 2 for a fall, 1.5 for a tech, 1 for major

If I'm wrong somewhere please let us know because I'm not 100% sure

Swiderski is solid, Carlson needs to come out firing
