The South Dakota State wrestling team did not face North Dakota State in a dual last season for the first time since 1961-62.
Why the two didn't meet is a matter of opinion; the Bison didn't make the trip to Brookings as scheduled due to inclement weather and SDSU was subsequently unable to reschedule due to facility conflicts.
But no matter, the former North Central Conference and current Western Wrestling Conference foes are going to square off twice this season, the first meeting - which will not count in the league standings - is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Friday in Fargo. . . . (read more)
