The Jacks made some new fans tonight! When the Pep Band got asked to play at the duel, most wanted to do it so they could play in Pep Band again (it's been awhile since basketball ended), but a bunch were surprisingly entertained and couldn't believe how intense the sport could get. I know some are going to come back from the band, for sure, and I think we wouldn't mind playing at another duel!

Breaking the old attendance record at the first duel is great, but I think interest will grow and the 2,000 mark will be broken this season. It's going to be another great season for Jackrabbit Wresting! #GetJacked

(Final score was 27-9, if anyone was wondering.)

I was in there. I will say it was a lot of fun. I will also say at one point I was quick to pull the trigger on canning SDSU's wrestling program, of course we weren't in Big 12 country and we kind of were wallowing. Very, happy they made it through the dark times. Excellent wrestling tonight, every match was either a great win for the rabbits or hotly contested. Bono has that program going! If you miss the Iowa dual, Oklahoma, Boise State, NDSU duals...that will also be your own fault as well. That stage is going to get bigger and a whole lot more fun..........

The Jacks just soundly beat the #14 ranked team in the US. Congrats to Coaches Bono and Reader and the Jackrabbit wrestlers!

Iowa State travels up to Fargo for a dual with the Bison. Comparisons will be made!
