Huge indeed! And he gets to France by beating the wrestler that defeated him in the USA Nationals earlier. Way to go Seth! And thanks to the Brookings Wrestling Club that helps support opportunities like this!

I see that Seth wrestled at 60kg for this event and is moving down to 133lb weight class this next year. SDSU wrestling is on the rise and will be fun to watch next year and years to come.

Seth wrestled in France over the weekend. He lost both of his matches, but his first loss was by one point to the silver medalist from Turkey.

He fell way behind early in that match,and came back to fall just short ,by 1 pt as you mentioned....great effort. Congratulations to Seth.
Ronna Heaton wrestles in the women's World Cadet Championships,she's from Brookings and also has been getting some coaching from our Jackrabbit coaches in preparation for the tournament,being held Sept 13-18 in Tibilisi,Ga.She's the reigning World Champion at 49 kg last year,this year,she wrestles at a higher weight class,not sure,but 52 kg sounds right.Every kg is about 2.2 lbs.
