Senior Kellyn Ferrell received the "Top Scholar" award from the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at the department's awards banquet April 8. The award honors the top student (as measured by overall and major GPA) in the graduating class.
Just one more academic award for SDSU Athletics to be proud of. Kellyn is a great student, and an even better young person. Best of luck to her as she first plays some professional soccer and then moves into a broadcast journalism career.
