Re: NCAA tourney
The soccer team gets a lot of credit for answering the question, and now, with this victory over Colorado, for putting an end to the question: Who are the Jackrabbits?

Re: NCAA tourney
If you go to the NCAA.com, you will see six thumbnail pics in about the middle of the webpage...the one featuring women's soccer IS OUR JACKRABBITS! Beneath the thumbnail it says: Jackrabbits Bound Over...
Click on the picture for a larger version and the story stating with:
JACKRABBITS BOUND OVER BUFFALOES
Fifteenth-ranked Colorado's season came to a crushing end on Friday, as a goal by South Dakota State in the 14th minute held up, sending the Buffs home in the first round of the NCAA Tournament and the Jackrabbits into the second round with a 1-0 win. But there's still much more in store for Friday, so stay tuned...

Congrats to the Jackrabbits Soccer Team and Coaches!!!! Get Minnesota Sunday!!!!

Re: NCAA tourney
Can someone please explain this format. I don't understand how a #4 seed wouldn't be hosting a first round series. Was Minnesota seeded higher? If so why would two seeds that high be facing off that early?
Just trying to grasp the setup.

Awesome job ladies look forward to joining you in the Twin Cities Sunday to watch your second round game. Very nervous on the car ride from Carbondale to Columbia about it, but you got it done. First legit win for the Summit League in the NCAA tourney. Keep us proud Rabbits. A struggle for the Jacks is giving up a goal in the game, and while you gave up 22 shot you still prevailed. GOOOOO RABBBITSSS!

Re: NCAA tourney
This is just AWESOME news! Just arrived in Columbia 30 minutes ago and have been watching the board awaiting news on the outcome. Congratulations Lang, staff and team!!!!
Not only is this our first appearance in the final dance for soccer and our first Division I tourney win, but it is also the first win by any Summit League soccer team in the big dance! Wow!! I'm so excited, my heart is pounding! What an accomplishment for a program this only in its ninth season of existence. GO JACKS!
