The IUPUI, North Dakota State and South Dakota State women’s soccer teams each received the 2007 College Team Academic Award from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) it was announced Tuesday.
South Dakota State led the way with a 3.30 GPA, while North Dakota State was not far behind with a 3.28 cumulative team GPA. The IUPUI’s women’s team posted a 3.14 GPA as 295 women’s soccer teams earned this national distinction.
In order to receive the academic honor, a team must have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher for the 2006-07 academic year.
