Congratulations to Kelly Larson for being named "Defensive Player of the Year" for the Summit League. This is from GoJacks.com:

ELMHURST, Ill. – Kelly Larson has been named Summit League Defensive Player of the Year after helping the South Dakota State defense only allow four goals during league play.

The SDSU defense had four shutouts during Summit League play and seven total during the season. Larson, a junior from Mahtomedi, Minn., started all 17 matches and picked up one assist on the year.

First year in the Summit League and the tradition has started: top player honors! Soon, we'll hear about the first conference championship (nearly got it in women's cross country).
