Tough loss for the women. Hope they can bounce back.

Jacks blew out Utah Valley State 7-1.
Kellyn Farrell put the Jacks on the board early with an open net shot that went undefended. No more than two minutes had passed before Farrell scored again, this time she faked out Utah Valley’s goalkeeper Mallory Schott off a pass from Erin Kasmarik and shot the ball into the open net. Freshman Danni Healy’s shot near the end of the first half opened up the floodgates for the Jacks going into the second half. Emily Quigley’s header just minutes into the second half on a pass from Kasmarik put the Jacks in command. Kelsey Worcester followed up seconds later with an open net goal. Heather Hill’s goal in the in a shot from about 30 yards right of goal gave the Jacks a nice 6-0 advantage. Tory Schiltgen contributed a goal midway through the second half in front of an empty net. Utah Valley’s Chelsey Ellison ended the shutout effort for the Jacks with six minutes left in the game on a long shot that went over goalkeeper Daniella Pappas outstretched arms making the margin 7-1.
Last Home Game of the Year Next Thursday at 7:00 with the Bison coming to Fishback Soccer Complex.

Took my daughter to this game and while the weather was absolutely horrible, she had a blast. She obviously is much more into to soccer than her dad, and at 7 years old was able to explain a few things to me. Sad thing is, I'm the assistant coach for her team.

The Jacks and the Bison look to tear up the field tonight at Fishback Soccer Complex as the home season ends for the Jacks tonight. It's raining, it's windy, it's a good night for a Mud Bowl. Come out whether or not you like soccer. Coach Wedemeyer's crew puts on a good show and they aren't too bad.

Jacks win four minutes into the second OT on Chelsea Goosen's second goal of the game by a margin of 2-1. Sloppy game, wind was a factor. Good game by both teams.

It appears the Jacks will finish second in the Summit League in their first season. Very impressive considering they picked to finish seventh. Great season ladies!
