NDSU beats SDSU 5-4, scoring four of five in the shootout. Jacks hit post on one shot in it. Bison play Western Illinois for title Sunday.

Pretty good game, though I almost froze to death. Both teams looked pretty good and it was a fairly exciting game to watch, at least for me.

This seasons tournement was marked by parity,as evidenced by #4 seed WIU winning it.Jacks had a good season even though they didn't come away with the prize.Be proud and build from this season something special for next years team,Go Jacks!

You are correct...my goof! I apparently saw the posting of the headline where they beat Oakland, not NDSU, and somehow in my senility never rechecked that.
