Macie Michaelson was named All-State first team in Minnesota. She was the only non "Metro" selected on any team. She should be a good one for State in the years to come.

Tigers’ Michelson named first-team AP All-State

In a basketball career loaded with achievements, Marshall’s Macie Michelson added another honor to that list Tuesday.
The Tiger senior was named to the Associated Press All-State girls basketball first-team Tuesday. She joined Angel Robinson of St. Paul Central, Tayler Hill of Minneapolis South, Alyssa Karel of Cretin-Derham Hall and Janessa Wolff of Park Rapids as selections to the first team.
The AP All-State team is voted on by the statewide media.
“It’s nice; it reflects our team,” Michelson said Tuesday, “...it means our team is ranked up with the best in the state.
“As a team, it doesn’t take one player. Your teammates help you.”
Michelson, who is headed to play at Division I South Dakota State, averaged 21.8 points this season for the Tigers.. . .(read more)

8-) Macie also made 1st Team All-Conference, along with Maria Bover's two sisters Sarah (Junior) and Gabby (Freshman). Real competitors they are!Comment
