I agree. Take care of the ball and we will go a long ways. Most of them seem to be just plain carelessness.

I do think this was about what we expected when playing Western. They are awkward, push, shove and hold. May not have been pretty but its a win. Western at WI seems to bring out the worst in the lady Jacks.

Move onto to IUPUI for another win.

They're still trying to find a rythem to a team that mixes youth & experience. They'll get there, with a little time, as long as we keep winning, i guess the turnovers don't affect the outcome, only the margin of victory.Of course, i'd really like to see them get a 20 pt cushion in every game too, but is that really realistic to assume against Ariz. St. or Virginia?More apt to expect that in Summit play. Some of the league's teams recruited very good players too, i'm thinking NDSU & Oral Roberts especially. Are we still better, i think we are, but it might be a little tougher to totally dominate the league this year as it was last year.Still taking baby steps in developing the team toward the goal of becomming a team that will win the confrence tournement, & be a very formidable (SP)opponent in the NCAA tournement. On a side note, as soon as they get familiar playing with all diff kinds of line ups, the turn overs should go down. Some players can handle a lot more steam put on a pass that another might not handle as good....that type of thing, howthis player might respond to a situation as compared to another player, team chemistry type things. All those type turnovers can be eliminated by simply the team getting more familiar with each other while playing out on the court.

The more teams see we have a high turnover rate, the more they will try to capitalize on it & the more pressure they will apply .So , the faster they figure it out the better.I still think it will be solved with the team becomming more familiar with each other, if we have the luxury of waiting till it does.

I hope all the pieces come together tonight, continuity, team cohesiveness(sp)As important as the individual parts to a team are,I think It's more important for a team to find that magic formula to work together as a team .When the team has reached It's full potential, we'll all know it because it will be awesome.Every member of the team is important ,so every member of the team must contribute in some way, scoring, rebounding, assist,s, causing turnovers are all good ways to contribute.Since statistics are an indicater of the over all team ,as well as individual performance, then I hope we all see good numbers tonight.
