The web cast was great for me on a PC using wi/fi in a hotel room in Wichita, KS.

SDSU would televise it in the Volstroff room like tonight? Just wondering... i think it would be cool if we pooled money together and could watch it on a big screen in that room with a bunch of fans......
What would be better is if KELO got some practice for their potential upcoming broadcasting contract(how is that doing by the way?  Anyone know?) and sent some people out there to broadcast the game on KELO or UPN.

Unfortunately KELO has a little thing called the NCAAs[/quote]

Fortunately they own another station called UPN.

Unfortunately nobody gets UPN (OR at least I don't)

KELO actually owns UTV which is an all digital channel. People in Brookings can get it with a digital receiver.

I think I get it on basic, but haven't ever needed to watch anything on it.

What about SDPB? I suppose it's probably too much of a hassle compared to driving to brookings. We may be SOL here, unless KSFY steps up to the plate.

Wyoming does not have a video feed at all?

WHAT TYPR OF computer did you guys use that LOVED it? details pls
Mine is a PC with a 17" LCD monitor. DSL connection. I wouldn't say I loved it, but it was better than I expected, better than other webcasts I've tried to watch, and way better than nothing at all. I watched it all in full-screen mode, which got a little pixelated, but definitely better viewing than the small rectangle.

Is there a game at 1:00 on keloland??? You could get Keloland to do it and brodcast it on SDPB and there UPN or whatever it is.. they use to do that when they broadcast the state high school tournaments

I'd pay the price of a ticket, however, if you've ever listened to Qwas...he makes radio work.

Dell laptop with my wireless connection and the 340 feed. Picture wasn't great and it froze up on occassion, but to be able to have pictures with Scotty's play-by-play was great for me. I'd pony up a small fee to get this on a regular basis. For me, who can't make it to games, just seeing the action and crowd is a bonus.

I'm thinking you'll get the chance next year, for about $10 a month for games and other video features. Just a guess based on a few things I'm hearing.

For a single game.  5 to 10 works.  10 to 20 for month of action, reasonable.

BTW, on full screen, off a PC using IE, cable modem, other than glitch at 3 minutes left in game, I was quite satisfied with quality of picture.

Hopefully the athletic Admin sets up a broadcast in the Frost arena. Which I heard they are tring to get done.
