  • USD Game Tickets

Single game tickets will be available for the general public (including coyote fans) on November 1st. Season ticket holders can begin purchasing tickets tomorrow.

As I did with the NDSU football game I am willing to purchase tickets ahead of time and distribute them to whomever is interested in attending the game unless, of course, you are a coyote fan. Now some would say that the experience of Frost is something coyote fans should be forced to endure but I say otherwise. The less red in the building the better.

So, if you would like some reserved seats for the Monday Feb 15th game against USD please PM me or speak with another season ticket holder. I'm pretty sure it will be a packed house.

That's great sportmanship doc. I'll take 2, next to you. And you complain about USD fans attitudes?

Tough deal, I know. I have had requests for 24 tickets so far. I'm going to call right now and order my first set. I can order more later.

I wonder where these coyote fans were when we were making the initial move to DI. They weren't on here voicing there support, I know that much.

BTW if any coyote fans need tickets to games at the dome let me know, I can get those too. As a donor to both schools I have some connections. I choose to support both schools but one athletic program. I'm okay with that.

Is my request for (2) part of your 24?

30 tickets will be ordered first thing tomorrow morning. They are spoken for but I can always order more. Again, tickets will be available for the general public the 1st of November. I can order tickets for other games as well, I have had some requests for that.

I might be able to spare a couple for you. Don't mean to disappoint but the tickets won't be next to mine as my seats are still a little ways up in the middle of the court. I'll move down next year.

PM me if you are interested. I think tickets will be tough to come by on game night and I'm not opposed to seeing a little red in Brookings. I'm not even sure I'll be able to go as I can't set my schedule that early but I'll do all I can to get to Frost that night. I've gotten a brisk response thus far.

Safe travels to SLO. Good luck. I am going there Nov. 14th, so please let me know where to stay and eat.

Interesting. Wasn't there a thread earlier where some were dowplaying the draw of this game? If this is an indicator.....

I think you'll be able to get walk-up GA seats, as the athletic department doesn't seem to mind cramming people into Frost anymore than they mind doing that at Coughlin.

                        Re: USD Game Tickets

In the old "rivalry days", we were lucky to sell 200 tickets to a men/women doubleheader at Frost to USD fans, while we would send 500-1000 down there consistently (even though it is the worst place to attend a basketball game IMHO).

I'm for a balance of trade (i.e, I would love to take their money): I don't believe the game will be a sellout, so I will be very interested to see how many USD fans venture up here for a Monday night women's game in February.

When they called me yesterday they said many people were planning to purchase a large amount of tickets. I didn't ask for a definition of many or large.

More requests have come in this morning so I have ordered a total of 50 tickets. All are thus far spoken for. I expect some more requests and I'll order more as they come in. Most of the Yankton people sit together at the football games and now we'll have some together at the basketball games.

I don't see how thats such terrible sportsmanship I guess. I mean what home team hopes to have a bunch of visiting fans at their place over having their own fans there? How dare he try to push having Jacks fans there instead of Yotes. Easily offended are we? Its not like he cut on USD in anyway, he just said I won't get any for the other team. DUH? Why would he support filling Frost with visiting fans when I'm fairly certain it can be filled with Jacks fans? Thats just being a fan, not a lack of sportsmanship.

I'm not diggin on anyone. Just having some fun with the fact that even 50 tickets is .8333333 % of arena cap. We have a long ways to go for a sell out.

I am impressed that JackMD is close to 1% with just his pals, but to try and use that as some kinda proof that we are going to sell the arena out, I don't know. I may be wrong but I still don't think the game against the yotes will have as many people at it as the NDSU double header the Saturday before. Hope I am wrong cause ticket rev. is nice
