        Re: TV schedule for Tuesday

My DirecTV on-screen guide shows ESPNU's 8:30 game tomorrow originating from Lubbock, TX--that's as of about 30 seconds ago.

        It could change, of course.

          Re: TV schedule for Tuesday

Well, if anybody finds out FOR SURE (Terry V., are you reading?), please let me/us know. I had to listen to WNAX Sunday because I was driving. I was not pleased -- NOT PLEASED -- that they cut off the post-game show. I retract that if they had to because of some agreement with Brookings Radio or whatever, but I think it was just a guy-at-the-station decision. All they did was kick listeners over to the Glen Beck (sp??) Show. I'd appreciate any info. I'm not going to whine to WNAX as their coverage of SDSU athletics is, you know, certainly the best in the state. My mood passed. But I wasn't happy at the time.
Grumbling along and embracing my role. If I didn't care, I wouldn't care. Go Jacks!

This is what I received in an e-mail from Jason Hove

Please note that tipoff is set for 8:40 p.m. on ESPN2.

                  Re: TV schedule for Tuesday

just got an email back from goldenwest. they apologized for the mix up. they said it had something to do with espn not recognizing, something about a decoder and that they were in south dakota. no clue what it means but they said it has been taken care of and we will get them on espn2 tommorrow night.

                    Re: TV schedule for Tuesday

Regional coverage doesn't help us in the West much. I turned on ESPN2 yesterday and they had LSU and Wis-GB. Then they later switched to Oklahoma and Prairie View. I was stuck listening to the audio feed of the Jacks game and watching the Gamecast tracker thing with the weird, floating humanoid objects on CBS Sportsline. Oh well, if the Jacks keep winning they'll have to eventually be on a national broadcast!

                      Re: TV schedule for Tuesday

I told you guys earlier I had complained to Midco about not being able to get ESPNU. I just got an email back from them saying the game is on ESPN2. He said channel 25 (in Yankton) so that again would be the non-HD version. Ben's Brewing does have ESPNU so I guess we are covered whichever way here.

OK, this is kinda TV related in that our favorite ESPN host, Trey Wingo, went to...are you ready?...yes, BAYLOR. If he gets it wrong tomorrow, it's intentional.

                          Re: TV schedule for Tuesday

It seems all of us not in South Dakota or Texas are again in a crapshoot to see what game ESPN will give us. And again for $75 we can watch all the tournament action of ESPN Full Court

                            Re: TV schedule for Tuesday

If you have the ESPN pay per view channels you may be able to go that way. I noticed last night (though we in SD got it on ESPN2) we could have ordered it on ppv. I think most cable companies will sell them individually instead of for the entire season. Midco is right around $20 for a day.

                              Re: TV schedule for Tuesday

When you go to the web site http://sports.espn.go.com/ncw/ncaatourney09/news/story?page=maps090324 it will show you the map that is covering the game. If you are in South Dakota or Texas you will be able to watch game in its eniterty. If not, you might be able to view parts of the game on ESPN2 via "wip around coverage". They showed about 15 seconds of the SDSU game via wip-around coverage last game (what a joke)!

Yesterday morning I went to http://sports.espn.go.com/espntv/espnGuide which shows all the ESPN games to be aired and it had the SDSU game on ESPNU. Also I scrolled through my guide on Dish TV and it had SDSU on ESPNU for tonights game. By yesterday afternoon and today they both show "GBT" (Game to be Determined). So who the hell knows if it is on ESPNU now or not??

I have HD. On Sunday night HD showed the other games and regular ESPN2 had SDSU on, correct?
