How about Baylor's coach in the hospital watching tonight?

Another amazing fact from the LSU game announcers - apparently some local business people bought up a bunch of tickets and were giving them away to LSU students to try to get them to attend.Think that would be necessary if the Jacks were playing a NCAA game in Sioux Falls ?

              Per wikipedia:

Trey's real name is Hal Chapman Wingo III. He was a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity at Baylor, the chapter bills itself as the Tryon Coterie.

Insert your own "thank you sir, may I have another" joke here.

And, in fairness to Hal, it should be noted:

"In 2007, Wingo became an official supporter of Ronald McDonald House Charities and is a member of their celebrity board, called the Friends of RMHC.[1] He also works closely with the Prostate Cancer Foundation and the Jimmy V Foundation for Cancer Research."

Wow that is a wacky picture of Vanessa, and a pretty typical pic of Kristin.

Just got home from watching the game. WOW!!! The first half is probably the best I have seen the women play. Great defense, great 3 point shooting, and great team play. Defense in the second half was a little lacking but when you have a 40 point lead, you do probably slack a little bit. Feel sorry for TCU having to play a team that was on fire like that. Can't wait until Tuesday night to watch the second game. GO RABBITS!!!!
Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!--Bluto--

From Charlie Creme's "Best and worst" column:

Best case: Jill Young makes four 3-pointers in the first half and Jennifer Warkenthien shines in her first real showcase game. South Dakota State relishes being the only non-Texas team in the Lubbock subregional and upsets Baylor in the second round. As the Jackrabbits celebrate, a student manager in the corner of the arena tosses a pin up in the air, trying to see if he really can hear it drop.
                              Wow.........
