LUBBOCK, Texas -- South Dakota State put itself in the NCAA tournament win column -- and the record book.
The Jackrabbits made a record-tying 16 3-point shots in their tourney debut and beat TCU 90-55 Sunday.
This was the first year the Jackrabbits (32-2) were eligible for the field. Seeded seventh, they matched the tournament mark for 3s set by Harvard in 1996.
Jill Young and Kristin Rotert scored 17 points to lead the Jackrabbits (32-2) and extend their win streak to 18 games.
Consecutive 3s by Stacie Oistad, Ketty Cornemann and Rotert midway through the second half put the Jackrabbits up by 76-32.
TCU (20-11) fell behind early in the first half and trailed by double digits for most of the game. Helena Sverrisdottir scored 12 points to lead the Horned Frogs
Fran F. (perhaps buttering up the hometown announcer) just told Tyler 'it's been three years, at least, since I've seen a team play this well, men or women.'

Just playing.
Its easy to be critical when you play on both sides of a fence.
P.S. I tried to give you rep for the comment but apparently I have given you some recently so it wouldn't let me.

I bet Maryland is cheering for Baylor tonight and Tuesday. Maryland doesn't want the "Rabbit Nation" to invade Raleigh next week. I don't think they want to play the Jacks again.
