Can we use this title as a game thread today?


Bison scaling down on expectations, citing injuries. Theme for tonight's game is "The Few, the Proud, the Bison." Two new players on the roster, including the 2008 homecoming queen. (Sturgis Jeff, any urge to post photos should be resisted).

Not in the predictions business but after last night every fiber in this fan's being wants to replicate "Da Bears" predictions from the old SNL and say, Jacks 1,542, Bison, negative 43.

Fargo Forum points out today that Jacks have five of the top 25 scorers in the league. Take a look at these statistics grids near the season's halfway point and the Jacks" dominance becomes pretty apparent.

The girls were all there at the game last night, and while I don't think any of them would acknowledge that it would affect their motivation--and it really shouldn't--I think it will make the victory a bit more satisfying.

Top 25 today, Kansas State survived Kansas but Villanova clipped Notre Dame.
Texas A&M at Oklahoma State is another game with direct impact on Jacks' poll standings.

'Nother Top 25 team in Jacks' poll neighborhood, Xavier, stomping Rhode Island tonight. Given up 18 points in 30 minutes.

The 2008 Holmecomig queen was an intern at 3M this past summer. Jacks win by 30+ in front of 3000+. THE "MARCH" is on.
