University of Oregon students will receive free admission and free pizza at Saturday’s second round WNIT game featuring the Duck women’s basketball team at McArthur Court.
The Oregon athletics department is picking up the tickets at a cost of $10 per student and head coach Bev Smith is buying the pizza. Students will be seated in Section 10 prior to the 7 p.m. tip-off.

I believe they did that for a previous game as well, but still had less than 1000 people attend. I wonder what it is tonight.

I think that was for the previous round, the game tonight was at wyoming.

It was for the previous round, but I thought it was funny with all the hub bub around here and how it is perceived elsewhere. This experience has got to be unbelievable for our team. Hopefully future teams will be met with the same enthusiasm. What are the chances we host the next game against Wyoming? Go Jacks!

Hopefully the internet streaming gave those that couldn't make it to Frost a sense of the electricity in the air! It was fun!
Scotty was saying that our attendance was like 6053 tonight which is another record. 3900 watching the Wyoming Oregon game. I don't see how we don't host the next game but we will see!
I think that kudos need to go out to the ticket and game management staff. They did a great job handling demand that hasn't been seen at SDSU for a long time. They made things work well on short turnaround times and really came across like a first class institution.

For Indiana only have 7 players on their roster, they played hard and physical. Their coach did a good job with the limited players she had to work with. We had a hard time passing in the first half and the 3 point shooting wasn't good. Nice for the team to pull out the win. Too bad that was the last home game of the year. :'( Go Rabbits!!
Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!--Bluto--
I think SDPB and the Athletic Department need kudos too. For them to get everything set up for a FREE webcast was very nice - on just three days notice too. Close to 3,000 SDSU fans that couldn't get tickets were lucky to get the webcast.
Unless you meant D-II... in that case, HECK NO!!!!!!!!!!![/quote]
OOPS, I switched it!
I agree with the hats off to the staff at SDSU for making everything work. If that ends up being the last game this year in Frost Arena then you can't ask for a better way for it to end. Let's go out and get a win in Wyoming and bring it back here again!
