CBS Sportscaster pat SDSU on back!!

Watching the Minnesota and Illinois game and during halftime...back to the studio where commentator Ann Schatz just can't say enough good about the Jackrabbits. She starts by saying something like her favorite team to watch is SDSU. She notes how they've only been playing DI four or five year, a former DII powerhouse making its mark. She rhetorically asks: What conference do they play in? The guy stumbles and she responds: Summit! Then: Where are they? Brookings, SD! Then: What's their name? Jackrabbits!!

They showed a couple of highlight clips of the Jackrabbits.

The Jackrabbits were then mentioned one more time a minute or so later.

(Okay, gotta settle down now,...have to remember to act like we've been there before.)

Pretty sweet showed video highlights and are one of their picks outside the top ten that could push for finial 4

The ranking is sinking home even more while watching #8 Tenn and #15 Rutgers. It's been said we can take on anyone up to the Top 5. If that's actually true, then it's pretty amazing considering Rutgers is up 20 on Tenn already.

It just may happen that SDSU is ranked above Tenn this year....

Last night with the Jacks men now with Tennessee women. Bet theres no snow left on the Filbert house roof or for that matter probably three hundred feet around the entire house.

Tennessee comes back from 20 down and wins by 5. You have to play 40 minutes of basketball against good teams.

Awesome to be getting some pub on the national broadcasts. Ann Schatz is actually an Omaha native and a Creighton grad which may be why she is a little more aware of the Jacks than some of the national press. Lets hope she keeps educating them

Corrected my post. Not sure why I thought she was an Iowa grad. She sure knows about the Jackrabbits.

They said the 20pt deficit at halftime was the most in the history of the program. To come back and beat the #15 on their court was amazing.

No doubt their coach can motivate their players.
