Just looking at some numbers again i think this game comes down to shooting the 3. they seem to shoot about as good as us but their D against the 3 is decent compared to ours but over all fg percent and D is in our favor. rebounding fairly even, assist and TO and dont really jump out as impressive either way. Both teams seem to play a deep bench so itcould be interesting which team can beat themselves. 3s, free throws may be the difference makers. We do have a bit higher scoring avg so hopefully that keeps up and we get another good win.
If we win we go 6-1 against all big conference teams including leading at the half against top 15 ranked ACC team. Not too shabby at all to start the year. Games like this will be key to help when the post season games get more intense. It would not be out of thought to think our ladies could face 3 teams like this in the tourny and with what i have read/seen, i think we will be just fine. Ladies hopefully come home from mexico with a winning record and some top 25 votes. Hey~ thanks to all who posted as the Maryland and Illi games were going on- and to those who will hopefully be posting for the Montana game- GREATLY appreciated. Now excuse me while I prep for my Friday night date with SDSUFans.com, rabid rabbit fans, and a grain-based beverage!!!

Looking forward to listening to this game. After hearing post-game comments from AJ yesterday and the quotes in the Argus, something tells me the women are going to come out strong today and not look back. Ketty and Jen have to just be itching to get out there and play hard and erase the last game.
The other thing that is a huge advantage for us is depth. Its a factor in any game but it really gets magnified when playing the third game in as many days.
Montana is a strong club and will be a good test. This game may give us our best look into how good our team truly is. Two hard-working teams from the Midwest, this could be a war. It should be fun!

Jacks#1Fan...Tyler commented on the radio during the Illinios game more than one time that there were noticably less Jacks fans at the game, even with the men's BB team there. I was quite surprised by this and wanted to ask you if there was any reason why this is considering you are in Cancun. Thanks!Comment
