This will be a HUGE measurement of the Jacks this year. We have been dismantling opponents here at Frost, and Terps have just finished dismantling 3 teams at Comcast Center at College Park, MD. Now, these two league top picks play each other on a neutral court.

Going to be a frantic afternoon at work tomorrow. I'm taking 3 days off in a row for the first time in 2 years and the Jacks are playing at 1:30! How in the hell am I suppose to keep up at work so I can hit the road by 6 pm and still catch the score updates? I hope the game is on WNAX so I can listen as I'm running between patients.

I would have traveled down to Cancun with the Corneman's but I can't be away from my patients that long, at least not right now. In time I'll make a trip like this, especially if I'm fortunate enough to have a child that plays for SDSU. If any of them play university athletics it will be as a Jackrabbit.

I've seen 1 pm . . . Steve on the men's broadcast tonight said the same thing, and WNAX will join-in-progress at 2 pm.

But I'll be at the Moon Palace Resort a bit early, just in case!

I will catch a little crap for this, I'm quite certain. i am hoping for a great showing, but I think Maryland will prevail. My prediction: Maryland 81 SDSU 64. I really hope I am wrong.

I think we'll miss Macie, although Alison, Jill, and Muck do a great job as well. Who knows? Leaving cancun 6-1 would be a pretty darned good out-of-conference start. But would I be surprised if we're 7-0? No.

Maryland's Team 8 players get 15 minutes per game! this team has 14 3 pointers on the year and only attempted 42! They really hit the boards!

We gotta hit some threes if we are going to be Maryland. We also have to push the ball. I've watched this team in person twice this year and when we try to run a set offense it gets a little predictable. Push, push, take the open shot and crash the boards, that is what has been working.

The only time that doesn't apply is on out of bounds plays when the set plays work to perfection, credit to AJ there.

Looking at the Terps starting 5, four of them average over 10 pts a game, with the 5th averaging 8.8 pts/game. (and two over 15 pts/game) Sheesh.

Then again, maybe if SDSU tires out the starting 5 and make them dip into their bench, the Rabbits may have a shot. I would guess however that Maryland would be just as quick and as deep as the Jacks.

Its been stated before, but I'll state it again...SDSU women are a very good, but I don't think they are Maryland good.

I'll be impressed if SDSU stays within 10, and I'll be cleaning the shat out of my pants if SDSU wins!

Beating Maryland is going to be very tough to do, especially since we're not at full strength with Macie out.

I do think we have an advantage in a schedule like this (3 games in 3 days) because of our depth. It will show in game two and three for sure. I find it hard to believe the other teams are as deep as us.

We gotta shoot at least 30% from the 3-point line to have any chance, IMHO. We can do it. Going to have to push the ball, keep people fresh and see what happens. I'm actually glad we get Maryland first.

According to Tyler on the radio, there are about 400 seats in the place and most of the fans are Jackrabbit fans and it is LOUD because the place is so small!!
