The lady jacks are 10-5 (3-1) right now so that would put them at 22 -7 and a conference record of 15-3. I would like to think 15-3 could win the conference. Some other possible trap games are at Western Illinois and at Southern Utah. I just don't see these girls losing at home. I would like to know what everyone else thinks! Have a great day.

I sure don't see NDSU tripping them up, it may be tight, the girls have dominated them over the last 3-4 meetings

NDSU and us will be a close game
at least the game in Fargo
NDSU is much improved and could give us a challenge
but if we continue to play like last game we can handle them!

One scenero is that we are tied with ORU going into that final weekend when we play them at Frost. We pack Frost and put out a "Frost Warning" and give them a little Welcome to South Dakota Party. Having said that I feel that any Road Game is going to be a Trap Game from here out. I know people from Fort Wayne and they believe that beings they only lost by 6 at Frost that we are very beatable on their home floor.

I might be taking this too far but I think the only chance to lose is @Oakland. If we play like we did in the 1st half against them, I don't even think they will lose that.
I know NDSU will be up to play us but we are playing better than earlier in the season. They are better but they didn't improve by 30 points from last year.

I think we can lose several games. We rely very heavily on the 3-pointer and if we have a cold shooting night its tough for us to score. Having our inside players back helps a bunch but we need to shoot a decent percentage from 3-point land to really dominate.

I agree jackmd. The 8 to 15 foot jump shot is a lost art. I think Stacie and Ketty have the best handle on it but everyone needs to use it more - including the post players.

Average of 32.7% of our points come from behind the arc. So I'd say it's arguable that we rely very heavily on the 3-ball. Having a full line up with Jenn and Ketty back should provide some much needed balance.

I personally think if the women can reduce turnovers and crank up their defense to create more possessions that will go a long way to keeping the game in our control. If we can do that then we can shoot from wherever we want to and the percentags should dictate a win for us.

You can look at our own men's team. They are shooting it really well right now and have been strong offesively. But if they turnover the ball 20+ times a game then the other team is getting a lot more possessions and the percentages don't reveal a true outcome. Which is another reason they've lost some close games.

Every single game left on the schedule is loseable, and every single game is winnable.

That's what playing in a conference means. The #10 team in the league can jump up and bite the #1 team at any time, and that competitiveness is what makes conference play different than what we've had the past couple of years.

I think SDSU's women should probably be favored in almost all of our remaining games except maybe at Oakland. This means that the women will need to bring their A game every night because everyone else in the conference will be up to play them. Plus, nobody wants to lose, especially on their home court, to the new kids on the block. I think it will be a dogfight all the way to March.
