So after practice today they had to shoot free throws everyone on the team but Scotty Kwas made their two, to Scotty's credit he went 1 of 2. Sounds like a good free throw shooting battle between teams in practice.

Ketty makes a three-point play to make it 60-52 with less than a minute to go.

Good to get back in the win column. Listened to most of the game...another good showing by a team that's missing key players. These women are going to be scary good by the end of the season.

Just got back to the hotel after the win here! Way to go Jacks. My senility is showing big time...I mean, my gosh I've got my program right next to me. SIU, Illinois State, two years ago at Carbondale, last year at Frost, my brain is short-circuited!

But I do know several things. We're 5-1, gave George Washington all they could handle (and just a tiny break would have been 6-0), Jenn and Laura will be back on the practice floor next week, although Jenn's uncle said that she has to be able to run on the treadmill for 15 minutes without hurting before she gets the nod (and she was just doing 10 before she left -- but the x-rays all looked good.) And Stacie should get the boot off next week, and be back by the end of the month when we start league play.

Jenn will start practice on Monday and x-rays do look good. Good win for the girls!
