With the Jacks first game in only five days, I'm all-jacked-up already!!! What does everyone think the margin of victory will be on opening night? I hope we have a big croud and show good support to start the season. Go Big - Go Blue - Go Jacks

I'll put the over/under margin of victory at 35. Jacks points +/- 85.

Wow! They have Stephanie Peterson on their team from Bismarck?! She was D1 material coming out of high school..seriously.

And umm..they only lost to SDSU by 18 last year and beat NDSU and they return four of their five starters (top four scorers) and a part-time starter in Boell. So your prediction of 35 points may be a little far fetched.

SDSU by 12. Bemidji keeps it closer than it would have been in a regular season game.

Allison Anderson at the point, Andrea Verdegan at the two spot, Ketty Cornemann starting the year in the small forward position, Jenn Warkenthien at power forward and Courtney Grimsrud at center.

I bet it is the same four that started last year plus Ketty or maybe Maria. I don't think Maria would play the three though.

I'm going to assume that starters won't mean much in this game. I think they'll probably start there old 5 with maybe one change somewhere, who knows? But this is just going to a be a "feel out" game anyways for AJ, Laurie, and his players. It'll be more important for them to get some different competition, work together as a team, and see how the freshman are doing with new plays, etc. In a few weeks the starting line up will be set.

I heard a techno-sounding song on the radio that came back to my head for this thread.

The Jacks are bigger, deeper, stronger, faster!

Bemidji State 63

The game won't even be this close due to the Jacks absolutely suffocating defense in the first half. 20 point lead at half for the Jacks. Bemidji will hold their own against our deeper bench in the second half but still lose ground.
