November 20 brings Gonzaga to the Pentagon. This is another quality game to add to the Cancun tourney that is on the books and Texas visiting FB&T.
Best to remember these are kids and they are doing everything they can to entertain us, be scholars, and all in all be great humans. Jackedforlife

Unfortunately, the Jacks have a home football game that day. It could be a difficult choice for some of us.

It will be well attended regardless, especially if they get the youth programs involved. Last year the men's game had a very good crowd and the Monument staff was pleased.

That's smart, meeting part way in between, we should schedule that way more often when possible , like finding the venue in-between, maybe that's not feesible and is too complicated to arrange.

2025-26 Schedule ? Go to Duke, Rice at home, away to Creighton & Northern Iowa. Stay away from D-III walkovers and Texas ? Three winnable games in Cancun.

What else? Is the assumption correct that regional recruiting competition avoids scheduling the Jacks - Gophers, Huskers, Cyclones, Buffaloes?

I would expect Texas this year. It could stretch to the Pentagon next year. The Huskers played home and home a few years ago where the ranked Huskers lost in Brookings. The fans in Lincoln were quite welcoming. Also, Amy may not be looking for a trip to Brookings either. Dawn and the Gophers are not calling for a home and home matchup soon. It would be nice to see the Cancun field firmed up.

Looks like the other 3 in Cancun will be North Carolina, Kansas State, and Columbia.

No easy games and no DII opponents outside of exhibition. This will be good for our many new faces. Lots of great home games.

Not to be super technical but I'd bet Weber State is a walk in the park for this team. And I think N Arizona just had a coaching change so that one might not be as tough as it would have been. Otherwise I agree - great looking non-con with interesting games and yet winnable.

Creighton , 2nd behind Nt'l Champs UConn in the Big East, Rice, should be easier playing them at Home this time around, and Murray State, won the MVC last season, all 3 should be good early- season tests. Montana and Gonzaga , great neutral games, then heading out to Cancun, Mex for the 3 day tournament. Good games to test a roster full of new players, and our seasoned vets to steer the ship.

What sort of record do you foresee?

I kind of gave up doing that, because I don't think I'm any good at it. But, I'll take a stab at it, OOC I will guess 11-3, I'm guessing we win at Creighton, but it was basically 50-50 in my mind (pick -a -straw) but they lost a ton of talent I think, but always play tougher at home, and always seem to fill the void very well. Likewise, Murray State and Gonzaga will be highly contested, but we seem to tough out those close games and forge ahead by just enough for the win. We got blasted by Texas last season, but at home, we should improve on that a bit with the home crowd. We'll play very hard but Texas will be maybe a top seed this season in their region at the NCAA Tournament. Hopefully, both Tex and Duke (at Home) will be single-digit losses. I think we take a loss in Cancun out of the three games there. We have so many tough games, I think it could go 11-3 plus or minus one or two, that's my escape clause.

In Conference, has any team in the Conference improved enough to beat us? That remains to be seen, but I'll say we might slip up once and the opponent having a very good game as well , it would be very hard to go undefeated three years in a row in Conference play, my just in case scenario. My final prediction is 26-4 , not too Conservative, and not too Liberal, just right hopefully. Wishing the team well , as always.
