they obviously studied our passing , out especially, they are getting deflections, Heard especially, very good timing, we have to give them some of their own medicine, they are playing much too comfortable and relaxed. The one deflecion under the basket, a turnover for us, I could have sworn the Okee-ST player stepped out of bounds twice, she has big feet, thought there would be a replay, but play continued. I've got to go back and see if my eyes were deceiving me or not.

i very much believe that Brooklyn can be successful vs their big girl. we need better play from both Myers and we need to hit the open 3s. I know she has not done it almost at all, but I believe Brooklyn could get the ball near the FT line and take this girl off the dribble. at the very least, I would guess we would get some fouls on her

the garbage banked 3 to end the half makes things feel a lot worse then they really have been. girls have done a great job on defense and awesome effort on the boards!!!

I think the announcer said SDSU was on a 6 minute scoring drought. To only be down 7 after not scoring for 6 minutes bodes well for the Jacks. You know the offense is going to get rolling, that lead should evaporate in no time. Go Jacks!

Vasecka looks very nervous. Understandable given the circumstances.. Hopefully she/they loosen up in q3

Need to quit over-thinking and just play.

Not an ideal start, but much better than 20-3.

We look nervous which makes sense for a game on this stage. This game is winnable but we need to step it up a notch on both ends of the floor.

I'll post this again afterward. But here's an article by a UConn beat reporter (and AP voter) on Kallie & Paige B. Meet the player who faced UConn star Paige Bueckers in HS

The stuff with OSU's big is something to keep an eye on. Slow to get up 2x

Two minutes in but far better start than a year ago! Their center is battling knee issues and does not look 100%.

HerHoops stat comparison/ranking for each team. Large pictures, so here's page 2 (opp shooting), page 3 (block, reb, assist, etc), and page 4 (opp block, reb, etc) as external links

It's a Q1 win discussion. The quads are now set up in a way that puts you into a list of haves / have nots. Richmond got their Q1 win and was placed accordingly. SDSU and Creighton do not have those Q1 wins and were treated as such.

This is all just going to come down to non con scheduling, and the ORU situation means ORU is no longer providing SDSU with the team's only conference q3 wins. Hope NDSU rises to the occasion in a big way.

I like to use WVU because they've been as low as 12 but average in the 14-16 range. It took them until February to pick up their first Q1 win. They're the perfect example of a team who was in pre-season polls and kept their ranking because they didn't really lose.

#16 and #17 team in the nation being given a 6 (in the seed list they're the last 6 seed - #24) and 7 Seed (3rd 7 seed - #27). At the end of the day, resume matters, not AP placement/votes earned throughout the year

I will post this year's seed list in the NET thread. Below image courtesy of rebkell board reflects AP poll with seeding

Creighton looks to be the other ranked team that got screwed in the seedings, and ironically they are probably our best win.
