Not that I would know, but this has to be a different feeling than just a road game. To have so many on the team that have been through this is a positive. Coaches too.

I like the fact that only Anna Gret Asi has been in this situation before. Players will play, but it can't hurt to have a team with more experience in this game.

Transcripts html pdf from today. Can't seem to find the SDSU videos for today (l only looked up SDSU, UConn, and OSU) but can find UConn from one of their many media people. Link for all transcripts. Geno/players video
Regarding Vasecka, AARON JOHNSTON: She's been good. She's been practicing. She'll be out there today. We would expect that she'd be available and ready to play kind of her normal role, normal minutes here going forward.
Re Kallie & Paige B "They played in the same section and, unfortunately, Kallie missed out on some state tournaments because of Paige and what she did in high school. So there's a familiarity there that is a neat storyline"
Richmond is up 26 points on Georgia Tech. Richmond beat OSU by 2 I believe for their only Q1 win. It's why they stood out even with their 2 q2 lossesLast edited by peavy; 03-21-2025, 08:23 PM.

From an ABC article by Doug Feinberg "A unit this year is worth just over $113,000 and a total of $251,000 for the three years." The 3 year avg (since it appears front loaded?) for a 9 team league assuming even dist is $9,296 per year over those 3 years for a total of $27,888
The ACC gives a higher cut to those who are actually in the tournament and phrase it as "performance success initiative" - something to consider

Yesterday the pre-NCAA press conference appeared on the YouTube SDSU site for anyone interested.

Was looking at some of these efficiency things in preparation for explaining SDSU's lack of NET movement to some of the people on twitter. The long and short of it, is the team's "efficiency" (read as not having those big wins like the team did in '23 where they went from NET 50 to NET 34 in the final 6 weeks thanks to games with large point differentials ) wasn't that great this year, so they were behind programs like Richmond, Harvard, etc in the NET
This one is from torvik Forced Turnover Rate is the one the school ranks nearly last in d1 in. DR% is Opp. Off. Rebounding Rate

My guess is our fans are more upset about the seeding than any of our players are. With that said, I hope we show up with something to prove and take it to them!
