GDT: Jackrabbits vs Tommies 2pm FB&T Arena SLN Senior Day

The Tommies(9-6) come in locked into a 4 seed for the SLT. Wednesday was a win for them against ORU. There are 6 seniors on the roster including Hill & Langbehn who lead this team. The game is listed as sold out. Hopefully we can find season ticket holders present for this final home game. FB&T should provide plenty of encouragement for the Jackrabbits. The SLT will be a quick turnaround for the teams. Go Jacks!!

St. Thomas is playing really well lately and gave us a really good challenge in St. Paul. Senior day also brings an extra layer of emotions so I anticipate an exciting game. Hill and Langbehn both have historically played great against us so hoping we show some improvement against them defensively today.

Our defense has been pretty good. Just struggling on the offensive end after a good start. Some of it is shots not falling but other times it’s shot selection. St Thomas is smart and doesn’t foul as easily as other conference teams.

taking absolutely NOTHING from Paige. excellent player! great teammate! AWESOME KID!! but we did once had a PG who scored about 2500 points in her career and was the all time leading scorer in the conference. she also led us to a sweet 16 and was seconds away from taking us to another one

I would love to see Paige play a big role in taking us to another sweet 16 or more. still doubt that puts her past Macy, but it would be a lot of fun to see and make the conversation more interesting))

They guarded her really well. She had some HUGE defensive and hustle plays today though. The effort was impressive.
