The Pios are 7-7 after falling to the yotes in Denver 77-71. Their average is 64.7pts/game. The shooting percentage is 39.6% and 29.4% from deep. HC Woods is struggling to find traction entering her 5th season at the helm. The Pios will lack some length playing the Jackrabbits today. 6' Jordan Jones is the Pio who is on the preseason 1st team. The Pios are preseason 6th place choice in the Summit. Denver averages -4.3(31) rebounds per game. I would expect that to be a minimum today as SDSU averages 39 boards.. We will see how the rotation for minutes runs today. I would expect the starters to play similar minutes to Thursday. Go Jacks!!

1. AJ is very very clearly still developing lineups, developing players (for instance getting kallie back into rhythm along with a couple freshman), and working on playing rotations. this can have impact on players feeling in rhythm- which leads to some questionable passes
2. Paige is clearly an excellent player and when you take the whole package she is a big plus!! but she has always been somewhat loose with the ball, especially for a PG. she has way more turnovers each year than what is typical for a player considered to be an excellent PG. sometimes she makes a pass that is not a turnover but it puts the next person out of whack and leads to them getting a turnover. please dont get me wrong. i am a Paige fan, but this has always been the biggest negative in her game
3. Kallie is looking more and more like herself on defense and on the boards but she is still struggling greatly on offense- to the point that she is often throwing the whole group out of rhythm when she is on the floor. in the first half of this game, i dont know how many if any TOs she had but she was involved in multiple TOs for herself OR a teammate
all of these seem relevant. 1 and 2 are bigger than 3
